Infinitec IUM USB for boxee box instead of EyeFi SDHC card :: delightful data bridge to nowhere boundless (lacking at least esatap)

Filed under: burning money = pointless pain, CIO — Seth Wisely @ 05:17

hmmmm…. suffers same defective design as boxee box.. lacks estap (power over sata: USB + esata = one port)

IUM can be a read client for the boxee box

this needs some testing… will IUM pair nicely with USB enabled NAS? towers of SATA port multiplication?

The IUM is a Plug-and-Play drive: when it’s connected to any USB equipped device, it will always appear as a standard off-the-shelve flash drive. This means that you’ll never need to install any drivers or software on any of the devices you want to use it with.

Take boxee box out of the loop entirely and jackin IUM into generation now HD LCD?
